How To Make Money Online

Learning how to make money online is something you can do without any money, and with very little time as well. You don’t need to dedicate 12 hours a day to an online business to be successful. You just have a to make the most of the time that you DO have, even if it’s only a few hours per week.

So where can you start if you really want to learn about earning extra income via the internet?

It’s easy to get caught up in the cycle of buying ebooks, courses and other products from people who claim to be experts – however this can often lead to analysis paralysis. Reading a lot, but doing very little. Getting your hands dirty by diving into it is the ultimate way to really get on to the path of making money.

There are so many ways to earn an income online. Some of these include freelancing, photography, creating your own products and of course, good old eBay.

Freelancing
Workers are in demand, and if you can write, design, program, complete data entry, or any number of other tasks, you can make a side income on websites such as elance.com, odesk.com, vworker.com and many others.

Stock Photography
If you are a good photographer then you can earn an income submitting your pictures to stock photography websites. There are hundreds of these sites, however it’s ideal to start with the most well known ones first. Each website has a different payout structure. Some examples of what’s out there includes:

- Dreamstime.com – Receive 25%-50% revenue share
- Bigstockphoto.com – Earn 30% per download of your images
- Shutterstock.com – $0.25 to $28.00 per image download

Creating Your Own Products
If you’re knowledgeable about a subject, chances are there are people who will want to learn from you. And many of them will be willing to pay for the privilege – if you can market it correctly. Whatever your hobby, there is money to be made. You can create eBooks, video courses, exclusive content sections on a website or blog, audio recordings, interviews, seminars and much more. The only limit is your imagination!

eBay
If you need fast cash right now, nothing beats offloading your unwanted items on eBay. Factor in the eBay fees when you’re setting a reserve price, to ensure you always make a profit. This is an excellent way to raise funds for your domain names, web hosting or any other expenses that might relate to your long term goals of making money online.

These ideas provide a great starting point if you’re looking to get into the world of making money online.

The History Of Online Shopping And Looking Towards The Future

The history of online shopping is not as rich as you would expect considering that it is one of the most popular things in the world; more and more people turn to online shopping every day for various reasons but mostly because it helps them save time and money. In 1990, the first World Wide Web server was introduced and the first browser and it didn’t take long for people to see the commercial potential in this new idea. Next year, in 1991, it opened to commercial use and although many essential features were not yet available, the ideas were there. In 1994, the web was completed by internet banking and the first online pizza shop opened by the big name in the business, Pizza Hut. There was an important need for online security and safe data transfer and so Netscape created the NSL data encryption the same year and already the horizon seemed much wider.

Amazon, now the largest online retailer, launched an online shopping site in 1995 and eBay quickly followed in 1996. From this point, everything became opened to new ideas and new companies and while the two names remain the leading websites, there are countless others that followed.

Now, all you need is a computer and a method of payment and the world of internet shopping is opened with just a few clicks of a button. There are still changes to be made and improvements that would make things even easier. Online security is always an issue and that is why big companies invest big amounts of money to make sure that their customers and their information is safe. The increasing number of options is another issue that online retailers have to face; they have to make sure that they have everything in the right group so that customers can always find what they are looking for. With such a big number of items, accessibility is another problem which we are faced nowadays. Last but not least is the delivery system which can always be improved.

Online shopping has evolved very much over a short amount of time and it seems that things are just now starting to change even more.
